Blue United eFC’s, AGU receives an international call-up, to represent the Japan Football Association

New York | Tokyo – Blue United eFC, in conjunction with Japan Football Association, announced today that Agu (Sho Nakashima) would join the Japan eNational Team for the second time by qualifying as one of the top 3 players for Eastern Asia Play Station 4 for “FIFA21 Global Series Official Ranking.”

With this call-up, Agu joins a very selected group of Japanese talent that has represented the Japan Football Association through history, such as Shinji Kagawa, Takumi Minamino, and Maya Yoshida.

“I am very proud of being selected as the Japan eNational Team player.” said Agu from Blue United eFC.  “It has been two years in a row since the first Japan eNational Team last year and I am very excited to play for achieving our goal to win the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021.”

Agu had a groundbreaking season in the 2021 FIFAe Club World Cup, winning the tournament after becoming the Champion of Asia. He established himself as one of the world’s top players and has been the backbone to have Blue United eFC rank #5 in the most recent “FIFAe Club Ranking.”

He will be competing in the upcoming “FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers” to qualify for the “FIFAe Nations Cup 2021.”  Schedule to be announced; however his official training match, “Japan eNational Team Training Match,” will be streamed on JFA Official YouTube Channel on March 10th.
