Former Japan national team Player, Mr. Takuya Yamada has been appointed as an executive adviser of Blue United

We are proud to announce that Mr. Takuya Yamada, who had experienced four J-League clubs, Verdy Kawasaki, Cerezo Osaka, Yokohama FC, and Sagan Tosu, has assigned as an executive adviser of Blue United.

◾️ Comment from Mr. Takuya Yamada
Having Blue United’s vision “Contribute to Japanese sports business development and globalization to make it one of the top industries in the world.”, and my vision “Increase the value of sports and athletes” in mind, I would like to contribute to Blue United utilizing my experience, communications skills, and character.  I would not only give dreams and hopes both on and off the field through sports, but also like to develop global human resources and devote every day by picturing many men and women of all ages enjoying sports throughout Japan.

◾️ About Mr. Takuya Yamada
Former Japanese national team player. After graduating from Komazawa University, he joined the J.league-side Verdy Kawasaki. He served as captain played for three more teams – Cerezo Osaka, Yokohama FC, and Sagan Tosu – before signing with Tampa Bay Rowdies in the US for 5 seasons. He was invited back to Japan by the legendary coach Takeshi Okada, the only Japanese to coach the National Team in two FIFA World Cups, to join FC Imabari.  Following his retirement from playing, he joined Nike Japan as the Football Manager, Sports Marketing, and studied the industry from the business side. He is keeping himself busy, deepening his study of the industry to increase the value of football.
