FIFAe Club World Cup 2021 Zone 2 (Asia) Winner / Asian Champion Blue United eFC will participate in EA SPORTS Cup

New York | Tokyo – Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City, the professional esports team of Blue United Corporation, is proud to announce to take part in EA SPORTS Cup which is the official tournament organized by EA SPORTS in 2022-2023 (FIFA23) season. 

EA SPORTS Cup is a dedicated team-based competition where 20 teams from all over the world has been invited by EA SPORTS and go head-to-head on a weekly basis in-person, in London. The tournament, which will be held over a three-month period, is a 2v2 tournament format using FIFA 23 and the prize pool for this competition is $250,000.

The participating team includes Manchester City Esports, the eSports team of the world-famous Manchester City FC, PSG ESPORTS, the eSports team of Paris Saint-Germain and RBLZ Gaming, the team of FIFA 22 world champion Umut belongs to.

20 teams are divided into four groups of five teams and play in a Double Round Robin format. The top 2 teams in each group advance to the knockout stage. The knockout stage will consist of a single elimination bracket and the 2 teams that advance to the final will receive the ticket to the FIFAe Club World CupTM.

We are proud to be 2 years in a row that Blue United eFC will participate in the official invitation-only tournament hosted by EA SPORTS, following last season’s FGS Masters Cup.
