Tess will compete in the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™️ 2022 season as a “Club Representative Player” of Yokohama F. Marinos

New York | Tokyo – Blue United Corporation is honored to announce that its esports team Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City’s rising star, Tess, will represent Yokohama F Marinos in the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™️ 2022 season final (PlayStation® Division), which will be held on November 19th and 20th in 2022.

This tournament is an inter-club competition among all 40 clubs in the J1.LEAGUE and J2.LEAGUE using the eFootball™ series. At the final stage, top 10 ranked clubs who won the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™ 2022 Season Online Qualifier Round1 and 10 winner clubs from the playoffs on November 5th and 6th, 2022, in total 20 clubs will compete to win the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™️ 2022 season championship. 

Yokohama F. Marinos and Tess will participate in the final as the team was the 5th in the 40 clubs in Round 1 of the online qualifier for the goal scoring competition among club supporters.

Tess participated in Round 2 of the online qualifier and won the 1st place in that competition. With this result, he could participate in the main round of the club preliminary round, which was held on October 22th and 23th, 2022 to win the rights of being the representative of Yokohama F. Marinos. By winning the round, he was selected as a representative of the club.

Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City and Yokohama F. Marinos will aim to win the championship in the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™️ 2022 season finals.
