to Learn from Professional Soccer Players and Coaches

HONOLULU – Back by popular demand, Pacific Rim Cup is bringing back world-class professional soccer to Hawaii with its keiki soccer clinic this summer. Hundreds of keiki soccer players and enthusiasts will have a chance to be trained by professional players from around the world at the Pacific Rim Cup 2023 Keiki Soccer Clinic on August 5 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. Pacific Rim Cup, organizer of the professional games last held at Aloha Stadium in 2019, is bringing back the popular soccer clinic after a successful return last year.

“Last year, we received more than 700 registrants in just 48 hours vying for just 300 spots, which speaks volumes for the demand and interest for a world-class and professional soccer presence in the Hawaiian Islands,” said Takehiko Nakamura, President & CEO of Blue United Corporation, the organizer of Pacific Rim Cup. “We didn’t have to think twice about bringing this back for Hawaii’s keiki, as this is a step towards bringing back the professional tournament games in the near future.”

Confirmed coaches include a mix of former professional players including Hawaii’s Kenji Treschuk and Japan’s Takuya Yamada. Additional coaches will be announced at a later time.
