Renews partnership with Pacific League Marketing

Blue United Corporation has renewed its consulting partnership agreement with Pacific League Marketing (PLM), a joint capital investment company created by the 6 professional baseball clubs in Japan’s Pacific League.

Since 2018, our President and CEO, Takehiko Nakamura, has served as PLM’s Special Career Advisor and Director of Overseas Business Development, and we provide consulting services in the area of business development.

One of our signature initiatives is a partnership agreement between PLM and The University of Massachusetts Amherst, Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management (UMASS).

We have planned and managed special lectures by UMASS instructors at the “Pacific League Business School,” which was attended by approximately 400 people, and interviews with UMASS graduates on “PLM Career,” a sports industry-specific human resources support service.

Specific details of implementation for 2024 are also under consideration and adjustment. We will continue to promote various initiatives for the further development of the Japanese sports business.
