President and CEO Takehiko Nakamura interviewed by NHK as a sports expert

Our President and CEO Takehiko Nakamura was interviewed by NHK in a broadcast on “Hot Kansai” on Thursday, April 4th.

The program focused on “behind-the-scenes professionals,” such as team and club officials, as professional baseball and soccer leagues in Japan are getting into full swing with the opening of their seasons.

The program discussed a technical college in Kyoto City’s efforts to develop a Human Resources program to support the professional development of those pursuing behind the scenes careers in sports.

As a sports business expert, Nakamura spoke about the importance of not only the players on the pitch, but also the “players off the pitch” in team management, and stressed the importance for students to adopt this mindset as well – that even from the sidelines of a game, anyone can still make a valuable contribution to the team.
