Tess from Blue United eFCwill participate in the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™️ Final as a representative of Kashima Antlers!

New York | Tokyo – Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City, the professional eSports team of Blue United Corporation, is pleased to announce that “Tess” will participate as a representative of our partner Kashima Antlers (J-League team) in the PlayStation® division of the eJ.LEAGUE eFootball™ 2024 Season Finals. The Finals are scheduled to be held over 3 days, on April 20th, April 21st, and May 18th of 2024.

This tournament is an eSports competition between the 40 clubs of the J1 and J2 leagues, using the “eFootball™ Series”. Representatives from each J-League club who advanced through the club representative selection tournament held from February 29th (Thursday) to March 31st (Sunday) will compete against each other. The total prize money amounts to an impressive 20 million yen, with the winning club receiving 5 million yen and each player earning 500,000 yen.

Tess showcased overwhelming strength throughout the qualifiers, securing a spot as a representative. The online qualifiers consisted of Rounds 1 to 3, with Tess smoothly advancing through Rounds 1 and 2. In Round 3, they competed in up to 20 matches, vying for points. Tess finished with a remarkable record of 18 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss, securing the top spot among 10 players and earning the representative position.

As a dual professional excelling in both the eFootball™ Series and the FC™ Series (formerly known as the FIFA Series) soccer games, Tess demonstrated their skills magnificently.

Kashima Antlers, the team Tess entered for, has deep connections with our organization, the operator of Blue United eFC. Since 2017, we have established a New York base for Kashima Antlers to collect the latest overseas information and expand networks. As the club’s “Global Strategy Officer”, we provide support with expansion activities in the United States and Europe.

Tess, hailing from the same Aomori Prefecture as the local superstar “Gaku Shibasaki”, chose to participate in the qualifiers for Kashima Antlers due to this connection. As a member of our partner company Kashima Antlers, we aim to become the champion of the eJ.LEAGUE.
