Interview with Mr. Mitsuru Murai on SPORTS BUSINESS LABORATORY

In May 2024, we interviewed Mr. Mitsuru Murai, President of the Japan Badminton Association, about insights gained from his intense eight years in the J-League, with the theme “League Management.”

The article explains the aims of each measure, including the high-profile DAZN deal and the J-League’s own “Sharen!” and other measures. He said their real aim was guided by what they thought the league should do for the clubs.
