Interview with Mrs. Minako Takeuchi on SPORTS BUSINESS LABORATORY

In September 2024, we interviewed Ms. Minako Takeuchi, President of TM Future Corporation, on “Social Value of Sports.”

In the first part of the interview, we explored her experiences working with various sports organizations, starting with her appointment as a B.League (Japan Professional Basketball League) board member in 2015. After reflecting on Ms. Takeuchi’s career, we delved deeper into her work with the Japan Wheelchair Basketball Federation.

In the second part, as a specialist in organizational development, she emphasized the importance of building solid foundations in governance, financial stability, and human resources to amplify sports’ value in the community.

*Blue United Corporation and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC have launched the SPORTS BUSINESS LABORATORY, which will promote research and demonstrations aimed at expanding the sports business in Japan, based on an alliance agreed to in February 2023, and have now begun full-scale activities.
