Blue United eFC Powered by Manchester City Renews Contracts with youxme and Tsakt for the 2024-2025 Season

Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City, Blue United Corporation’s professional eSports team, is pleased to announce the contract renewals of youxme (Shusei Mukasa) and Tsakt (Shota Sato) for the 2024-2025 season.

Most esports teams operate with two players in competitive soccer video games, like “EA SPORTS FC24.” Maintaining a two-player lineup creates a challenging environment that promotes team collaboration, intensive training, and information sharing.

It is crucial not only for players’ individual growth but also for our goal of closing the gap at the global level. We are committed to excellence, achieving great results, and advancing to international tournaments.

Additionally, rather than solely focusing on performance in international competitions, we will continue to promote the growth of the overall esports market, aiming to grow as a professional sports club by leveraging our strengths in sports business.

youxme’s Comment:
“As I enter my third year with the team, I would like to take on new challenges and assist BLU eFC in becoming a key player in promoting EA SPORTS FC25. Last season, I finished third in the Asia tournament at the World Championships. We were just one win away. Competing against top global players was a valuable experience, and I am eager to develop the skills needed to compete on a world stage. Moreover, I am working on verbalizing my gameplay to better engage with fans. I would love to do more to contribute to the growing interest in FC25 across Japan.”

Tsakt’s Comment:
“As one of the longest-serving members of BLU eFC, I feel a responsibility to promote the team and help more people discover us. I will actively share our story to build the team’s value. Of course, the most important thing is to perform well as a player, and I’m determined to put in the work this year. Last season, I didn’t achieve the results I wanted on the world stage, so I’m committed to pushing for domestic and international success this season.”
