Tsakt from Blue United eFC reclaims Japan’s top spot at the FCS24 6th Final!!

New York | Tokyo – Blue United eFC powered by Manchester City, the professional eSports team of Blue United Corporation, is pleased to announce that Tsakt won the 6th FC Community Series 24 (FCS24) Finals held at LaLaport Kadoma, Osaka, on Saturday, May 18, 2024! Tsakt avenged the disappointment of finishing runner-up in the previous tournament, claiming his third championship title of the season following victories in the 3rd and 4th tournaments.

The FCS24 is the largest domestic eSports competition, using the EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Ultimate Team™ mode (FUT mode). It consists of open qualifiers, final qualifiers, and the finals, and is recognized as the tournament that determines the best in Japan. Everyone is welcome to participate, from professional eSports players, including Blue United eFC to amateur players.

Tsakt, who was the runner-up in the 5th tournament, was exempt from the qualifiers and entered directly into the finals. Despite a draw in his first group stage match, he quickly gained momentum from the second match on, advancing to the knockout stage. In the semi-finals against the previous champion, Nasri, Tsakt staged a dramatic comeback after being behind 0-3, equalizing the score and winning extra time and a penalty shootout to reach the final.

In the final, Tsakt faced Rinlin, whom he had drawn in the first match. Riding the momentum from his semi-final victory, he secured a convincing win. Throughout the tournament, his solid build-up play and ability to turn the tides to secure a win were remarkable, showcasing his veteran skills and reclaiming the championship title.

Tsakt, who now claims Japan’s number one title, will participate in Dream Hack, one of the world’s largest eSports events, held this month in Dallas, Texas, USA, and next month in Jönköping, Sweden. He aims to qualify for the FC24 World Championships at each event.

Additionally, our team’s official items are now available within FC24! We are the only team from Asia featured in this game. Please take this opportunity to acquire them. For more details, click here.

Tsakt’s Victory Comments:
“I was able to play throughout the tournament in a relaxed state with a good sense of energy. There has not been an easy match since the final qualifiers, and I felt that the level of the players competing in the FCS is rising, making the tournament increasingly challenging. This time, many players advanced by sticking to their game and utilizing their technical skills, so I was very much looking forward to seeing how the matches would unfold. Even when I conceded the first goal and the gap widened, I was able to stay focused on what I needed to do and catch up calmly. This was because my mental state and motivation were very stable, especially with our partners’ help and the overseas tour coming up. I believe this stability led to the victory and has also given me confidence for the future.”
